Mr. Smith is a Registered Principal and Municipal Securities Limited Principal of Highland Financial with FINRA Series 7, 24, 27 and 51 registrations. He is also registered with the Pennsylvania Securities Commission. Mr. Smith is a Pennsylvania Licensed Insurance Agent and a Pennsylvania State Real Estate Salesperson. In May 2001, Mr. Smith was licensed as a Certified Financial Planner™ by the Certified Financial Planner's Board of Standards, Denver, Colorado.

Prior to starting Highland Financial, Ltd., in 1989, Mr. Smith spent over 22 years in the banking industry. He held Executive positions at banks in Johnstown and Philadelphia.
